Friends of the Library

In 1990, the Hartland Friends of the Library, a non-profit organization was created to improve library services and facilities through support and fundraisers such as holiday pie and cookie sales, donations, grants and bequests. That same year, Hartland residents and Friends of the Library came up with an ambitious plan for a new library: the one you see today. The library still needs ongoing community support and becoming a member Friends of the Library is wonderful way to do that.

Patron/Business $50/year
Platinum $100/year

The Friends also sponsor several fundraising events throughout the year, like the yearly book sale. Please contact the library for further membership and volunteering information.

The Hartland Public Library is located at 153 Route 5 in Hartland, Vermont. From I 91 use exit 9, then travel north on Route 5 for approximately one mile. We are located on the left side of the street, across from the Mobil station.
