What’s your favorite genre of book and/or movie?

I mainly read contemporary fiction, but also like the occasional memoir or other  non-fiction book. I also read a lot of picture books and middle grade books for work these days. I mostly binge watch TV shows, instead of movies, and love dark Scandinavian mysteries.

What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?

More educational travel, learning a craft or how to cook the local cuisine in all the far reaches of the world! 

What are you interested in that some people may not have heard of?

I do lots of textile based arts and crafts including shibori and sashiko.

Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?

Darwin, Australia. I would probably not have chosen to go there, but in my 20’s I did a camp exchange program in Australia and was placed there. It was an amazing month in a very unique location.
